And that’s a little bit about me
I'm Ali Zaman. I was born in Karachi, Pakistan, but my heart and drivers license consider Richmond, Virginia home. I graduated from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Mass Communications with a B.S. in Creative Advertising. Since then, I’ve been proudly working on the Brand Team for the iconic Virginia is for Lovers brand. My career there has grown significantly during my tenure, growing from a Graphic Designer to Assistant Brand Director.
I always been a nerd. I like building computers and 3D Printers. I like to fix old film cameras. My handwriting is terrible. I can’t draw. I don’t like the way mint leaves smell or the sound pencils make when they write on paper.
Creating art has never seemed to come naturally to me. I’ve always considered myself more analytical than creative— a problem solver, not an artist. Because of that, as a creative, my passion has always been to create work that meets goals and solves problems.
